Professional ballroom dancers Camilla Dallerup and Ian Waite, from the hit television show Strictly Come Dancing, will be ‘tripping the light fantastic’ at this year’s annual Belfast Taste & Music Fest next week bringing an added ‘helping’ of glamour and pizzazz to this unique culinary event.

Over four glorious days, from 6th to 9th August 2009, some of Northern Ireland’s finest chefs will welcome fourteen Chicago Ambassador Chefs to Belfast’s beautiful Botanic Gardens for what will be the largest al fresco restaurant in town. Visitors can look forward to indulging in world-class culinary delights as well as celebrating great local food sourced entirely from local produce.

In addition to sampling the delicious cuisine on offer, visitors will enjoy a fantastic live entertainment line-up, which will include a special performance by guest dancers Camilla Dallerup and Ian Waite from Strictly Come Dancing who will be headlining the entertainment on Sunday evening.

Danish born Camilla has been dancing since the age of two and became a household name after appearing on five seasons of Strictly. In 2008 she won the competition for the first time with her dance partner Holby City actor Tom Chambers. "I am really looking forward to attending the Belfast Taste & Music Fest’ says Camilla. ‘I have been to Belfast many times in the past and I have always thoroughly enjoyed my visits. It is a beautiful city and everyone is so friendly. "
