Co-host Isabella Gerasole, 13
Isabella 'Belle' Gerasole hates rapini, but unlike most thirteen year olds she actually knows what it is! As co-host of the James Beard Award-winning website Spatulatta.com, Belle is always delighted to experience new foods and show other kids how to prepare them. Her favorite recipe is pesto. She's an eighth grader in Evanston, Illinois, just north of Chicago. A First Honors student, Belle likes to swim, write plays, read and has a role in the upcoming Northlight Theatre production of 'The Giver.'

Co-host Olivia Gerasole, 11
At the ripe old age of 8, Olivia 'Liv' Gerasole was the only single-digit James Beard Award-winner on the planet! In addition to her co-hosting duties on Spatulatta.com, Liv can play the piano, walk a tightrope and make an incredible fresh blueberry pie. Liv loves school and is a straight-A student in her fifth grade classroom in Evanston. When she's not making her favorite snack (Berry Dip-N-Roll) you can find her perfecting her waltz jump at the local ice skating rink, or teaching her chihuahua Consuelo to 'sit.'

Producer Gaylon Emerzian
Emerzian began cooking up Spatulatta.com ten years ago, when she was producing an educational program for National Geographic on the food pyramid. A ten year old, thrilled with his efforts in combining different food groups into a pizza was heard to exclaim to his mom, 'I made it myself-- I always thought pizza came in a box!' Eureka! Noodling with the neighborhood foodies netted her two spunky hosts and Spatulatta was born. Emerzian is a James Beard and Emmy award-winning filmmaker with a rich and varied background in television and film production. Over the years, she has been the guiding light on scores of industrial, educational and promotional projects.

Chief-cook-and-bottle-washer Heidi Umbhau
Umbhau has a background in television news and public relations. She used to work for a US Senator and a few TV stations as an anchor and health reporter'she's an Emmy winner too! Now she's a media trainer in Chicago but she also does Mom duty, does costumes for school productions and collaborates with Emerzian on Spatulatta.com
